OUT OF SCOPE
“Out of Scope” is a group exhibition dedicated to the role of woman in contemporary society. Various interpretations around the role of women in Europe have been constant for many generations. The modern trend of “strong, stylish, independent, positive” women arises in the effort to release the femininity from the shackles of “Kinder, Küche, Kirche”. But, in reality, it is turning into a new framework for what a woman SHOULD be.
“Out of Scope” is an effort to move on beyond these boundaries into a world of endless possibilities, a kind of Eldorado where you can be (or not be) yourself (or someone else), become a man, live a life of a housewife from the ’50s, etc… ⠀ “Out of Scope” is a fantasy exhibition devoted to the image of women in the modern world. It’s an effort to find an antidote in classic and post-traditional forms and meanings. It demonstrates the world as it could be if you perceived limitations in artistic techniques instead of nurturing their importance and need. There is creative magic in everything when the visualization of a true potential transforms reality into an illusion.
